After a hugely eventful six months the dust is beginning to settle. Defining moments were: playing to a great crowd at Pizza Express Dean Street on April 1st; being chosen as one of the artists for the prestigious Jazz Services Recording Support Scheme; recording and mixing our debut album over three days at the Fish Factory Studios; launching a successful Kickstarter campaign and finally being signed to the F-IRE label for a release next Spring.

Not only am I excited by the music on the album, but also the accompanying artwork (being currently worked on by Ricky Day) which will complement the compositions and general direction of the album. We met for a drink last week and I was so happy with the ideas and drawings that Ricky came up with. See photo below for a sneak preview!
